YouCanDoProbate is an online platform that lets you apply for probate yourself. It guides you through every step, completes all the required Probate and Inheritance Tax forms, and gives you expert support along the way.
£499 including VAT. One fixed fee, never a percentage of the estate. You also pay the Probate Registry fee of £526 directly to HMCTS, plus £2 for each extra copy of the grant.
Most estates receive the grant within four to eight weeks of submission. Your part, entering the estate details, usually takes a few evenings.
For most estates, no. Probate is an administrative process rather than a legal one. Our platform handles the forms and the calculations, and our experts are on hand if you get stuck.
